Fair Game - Patricia Briggs
Third Alpha & Omega novel. More police procedural mystery than urban fantasy romance this time. I have always mingled the Kitty Norville stories with the Mercy Thompson universe, so kept getting  the background story confused.

Well, Charles DOES overlap both series.

Yes, Charles (and the Marrock) are important to the Mercy Thompson stories, but I keep thinking that they'll flip on the radio and listen to "Kitty and the Midnight Hour" radio show. Probably because both Briggs and Vaughn deal with the "coming out" of the werewolves in modern society.
