we started the kitchen upgrade when we had to replace the fridge earlier this year. at the same time we got a new range to consolidate the stovetop and ancient wall oven.
DH removed the cooktop, split the existing cabinet, and moved that section into an alcove. he removed the wall oven and using boards from an outside repair, created a pantry and a section of cabinet to the right of the range. I ordered my dream countertop which was installed a couple of weeks back.
we found some tile for the backsplash which DH laid and grouted this weekend. we found the floortile this weekend.still have to replace
hardware and cover the range hood as well.
